Referee.....I need a whistle!

School has only been out 6 days and I am starting the countdown to the new school year. Ok, maybe not just yet but I can't for the life of me figure out how these kids can find so much to fight about. Evan is so used to things going his way during the day and Layne being home all day has upset his apple cart. Being the older brother, Layne is sure that things need to be done his way and Evan is pretty strong willed, (alright, just flat out bull headed). They don't mix well when they have opposing ideas about how or what things should be done. Brotherhood seems to be a strange and wonderful relationship, I've never been a brother, only a sister and I know how varied the dynamics of that relationship can be. Those two boys will beat the stew out of each other and the next minute be conspiring against the rest of us. The job description of mother definately includes the role of referee.

UGGHH for the day.....Liberty Mutual Insurance company! It has now been almost 2 weeks since their insured driver ran a stop sign and caused the accident we were in. I drove an hour and a half to get the police report and paid $5 for it b/c they are dragging their feet. I wonder if one of the job requirements for the claims positions is to have the personality of an enraged pit bull? We clearly were not at fault in ANY way and in every converstation with this woman, she seems to try to imply it is our fault somehow. I guess it's her job to try to avoid paying out a great deal but she's making me angry! To borrow a phrase Morgan used to use when she was little....."She's gettin on my last nerve!"
