My puppy has a cold.....it began with a single sneeze this morning that grew to multiple sneezes every time she moved. It just didn't occur to me that she could get a the common cold but the it has reared it's ugly head with non stop sneezing and a runny nose! Being a Boxer she tends to snort and snore anyway, add a stuffy nose and you can imagine the sounds that she is emitting! I thought Kurt could snore but this baby Boxer is bringing down the house!
Sophie and Lillianne can commiserate together on their woes, Lillianne is teething and is a complete crank pot! She is absolutely adorable but boy does she have a 'tude and she isn't afraid to use it. I have told Kurt several times lately that we are in for it, she has all three of the older kid's attitudes and then some rolled into her tiny self! She'll slay you with her sweet little smile while putting you in your place!
FYI, best time to go to Walmart is at 11 pm. Morgan and I just went and dropped a couple hundred dollars! Shopping at night is great for your sanity but even better for Walmart's bottom line. It's nice and quiet, no crowds and you can just wander and shop until you have bought tons of stuff you don't need and kick yourself for when you get home. Morgan traded her hard earned babysitting money in on an 18 speed mountain bike, she's pretty proud of her purchase and for once, I will have to agree.
She's planning on taking the bike along on our camping trip this weekend. Her friend is going along and girls just gotta have wheels you know and her old bike is just so uncool! LOL
American Idol!
Wow! I have to say that I am surprised that Carrie won, although she certainly did well. I just thought that Bo had it all wrapped up. I think that we will see his CD soon as Clive Davis said he was looking forward to making an album with him. Whatever will we do in the evenings now that Survivor, Amazing Race and American Idol are over? Not to mention all of the CSI's and Without a Trace! Maybe we will actually get something done around here!
Weekend camping.....
Still no official place to camp, I did realize that each State Park campground has some campsites that are non reservable, they are handled on a first come, first serve basis. Like a dork, I will be getting up in the morning and going to the park that is nearest to us (about 45 minutes) and will try to secure one of these sites. I'll have to put up one of the tents, sans the husband (he'll be at work). If you hear screaming, you know it's me fighting with the tent while wrangling four kids. Should be a great day!!! We'll see how that works out! If all else fails we can rough it in the camper at Kentucky Lake but the kids really want to tent camp. I will say that the lure of a real bed in the camper has a strong pull at 1am.
I'm gonna turn in for the evening and will be MIA until next week! Have a great and SAFE Memorial Day weekend!

OH, and I forgot to add, Lillianne sounds a lot like her mommy--smiling sweetly while still getting her way no matter what!
