As I write this I am eating pretzels for breakfast. I know, really healthy Dottie but let's blame it on hormones and it seems more reasonable! Right?!? Actually, I am attempting to eat the pretzels. The little Princess, who has already had her healthy, food pyramid acceptable breakfast is stealing my pretzels. It is more like I am getting the pretzels out of the bag, holding them briefly and am having them snatched from me. Lilli does the snatching in the most polite way. She looks at me, smiles that adorable smile and grabs the pretzels while I am under her spell. My little angel is a mannerly thief, after each hijacking of the pretzel she says "Ah Dah" Translated from Lilliannese it means "Thank You"! As cute as she is, she can have the whole bag....I'm moving on to the Oreos I've hidden in the pantry!
Layne is home, he has been with Mom for a couple of days. For one of his birthday gifts she paid for him to go to a one day camp where he made a pinata and went swimming. He and Mom went to see Madagascar and then went on a 12 hour road trip to Kansas City and back to pick up a train set, arriving here at 12:30 this morning. Evan woke up, found his brother was home and rejoiced. These two boys fight like mad dogs half of the time but Evan was miserable with Layne being gone. Sophie was so happy to see Layne, she head butted him and gave him a bloody nose! Welcome home Bubby!
Kurt believes himself to be such a comedian.....unfortunately for him he chooses to unleash his sense of humor on me at the most inappropriate times. The other morning he left me a note on the kitchen table when he left for work. It was a "To Do" list......how can he ever think that this is a good idea??? Add to the fact that I have not really slept in the last few nights and am hormonal....you can draw your own conclusions as to the mood I was in!
The list included a few things he wanted me to look up on the internet and a few things he wanted me to do around here. OK, this I could deal with until I got to his post script. "This being done equals great birthday and anniversary presents"! I know he thought he was being funny, he's strange that way! I went to the computer and paged him saying "Not leaving smart a** notes on the table equals PEACE for you!" He called me right back, laughing and saying he thought that I would like that! Crazy man.....my presents better be my new living room set and the Carribean cruise....... "AH DAH" you very much!!!

I know how you feel, I can never eat anything without Miss Em wanting some as well. I enjoy it though, it is nice sharing with her! I get those little lists to sometimes and I tell my husband I am not his own personal assistant... LOL
I leave the lists in our house. Dh values his life too much to leave lists for me!
