ARGHHHHH!!!!!! Can you hear me screaming from where you are? I have been on the phone and e-mail with the person (to call her a lady or even a woman would be an injustice to the female sex in general) who is the claims adjuster ,she is the most obnoxious and obstinate human being I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with.(There are a few close runner's up, though! HA) We are basically in the process of getting screwed and I'm not gonna take it. The woman that hit us was found 100% at fault by the police, admitted it herself and there are witnesses to back this up, as well. The insurance company only wants to pay us 85% of the repair costs because they had a meeting a determined that we are 15% at fault. She ran a stop sign into thru traffic , Kurt tried to avoid hitting her and kept her from obtaining serious injury and the police determined there was no liability on our part. The insurance...um....person.... wants me to accept this and now refuses to talk to me (her words)until I do. I want to throw the phone at her, throw it at something and then stomp on it. I know, this is not rational behavior....I AM NOT FEELING RATIONAL! It is all about principle! I have wasted an entire day dealing with something that should have been settled 2 weeks ago, this also does not make me happy!
On to better things.....Lillianne is starting to use more words, she is so cute. She has added "Lilli" and "Sophie" to her vocabulary. All dogs are now "Sophie"! She dribbles the soccer ball with Morgan, kicking it as she walks in the back yard, this makes her big sister very proud. Morgan and I have an ongoing argument (not hostile) about Lillianne's future as a soccer player. Morgan, she will be a girly girl!!! You are fantastic and I love you exactly the way you are but I need some frills, lace and baby dolls! Quit influencing your sister!!!!
We have a big soccer tournament this weekend in St Louis so that will keep us pretty busy. After this tournament there will be a break until they have one in Columbia the last of July.
We are going to get a new pool! The 15 foot pool we had became nesting material in the outside shed for mice. We had one of those Intex above ground pools with pump that you can store in the winter, it became a nice housing complex for the mice since my darling husband didn't listen to me when I said it needed to be stored in a plastic storage bin. He now adamantly denies that these words ever came out of my mouth. He does have selective hearing but Layne told his Daddy that he was SURE I said it and that Daddy really needs to start listening to Mommy! I LOVE THIS KID!!!! So now we are getting the 18 foot one with all of the extras ! We have talked about getting one of the permanent above ground ones but I don't want to have to take it down and move it when we do finally build our new home. I really do need to make a decision on house plans and when I think I will have the energy and patience to deal with the whole process. It just makes me extremely tired thinking about it!!!! Hopefully I'll get the pool tonight and we can use it next week! Missouri heat and humidity is on the menu for next week! JOY!!!!
I need a good book and a good glass of wine....that's on the order of business for tonight!
Here are a couple of pictures from camping and the other day in the back yard!
