Password
I love my husband for so many reasons, often want to throttle him for so many more reasons but that's a whole other blog entry.....anyway, yesterday he just cracked me up. He is so very mechanically inclined, he can fix just about anything, imagine and build just about anything even if it might not be the most conventional way to build it, it amazes me how his mind works, the wheels seem to always be turning (really I swear, if you are quiet enough, you might be able to hear it!) While he is all of this, he is soooooo not computer savvy, really doesn't have much of a clue on how to use the internet, e-mail and that sort of thing. He can use software at work to create programs to make a robot run but he doesn't have a clue where some of the basic stuff comes in. He can rebuild the joker for you, just not e-mail you with it! He came in from work yesterday and was loving on Lillianne, he said he had to change his password at work for some sort of system and he changed it to "Lillianne", how sweet is that! He then looked at me and said "Guess what it was before?" ok, I'm thinking it had something to do with us, our wedding date, the date we got engaged, my birthday.....something sentimental like that since he was using Lillianne. NOPE, my so not savvy computer husband was using "PASSWORD"! You heard me, just password! What else can I say.............................

THE GOOD GUY DOES WIN!!!!
If you have read my blog at all in the last week or so you know that I have been fighting with the insurance company of the lady that caused our wreck 3 weeks ago. The claims adjuster person was just the nastiest human being I have ever encountered and finally I had just had enough. I told her she was nasty and I was done dealing with her, I gave her the chance to handle this appropriately and she got nastier so I went WAY above her head and included all of her comments and correspondence.
Within an hour and a half my claim was settled for 100% due to us, the check is in the mail and I got an apology from her main boss.
If you know me at all, you know that I like to win and can be quite adamant about it. BUT, I usually do not fight unless I know that I am right BECAUSE I like to win! I tell Kurt this all of the time but he still doesn't always get it! You'd think after 10 years of wedded bliss he's understand this, but again, that is another blog entry!
The issue with the insurance company really came down to a matter of honesty and principle, something that I am pretty big on and they were failing miserably but the issue is now settled! YEAH!!! I do have to say THANKS to all of my April Pita buds for helping me out!!! Laina, I want to be you and your lawyer self!

Soccer, Soccer, Soccer!!!
We are off this afternoon to a soccer game and to spend the night in the Marriott St. Louis, I have to admit that while I love watching Morgan play soccer, I am so looking forward to the heated pool and the big fluffy pillows at the Marriott! We weren't going to stay the night but when I started adding up the road travel time and the fact that we wouldn't be home until after 10 tonight and then have to get up and be back up there at 10 in the a.m., I started the search for a room. I have another main mission in life, to NEVER spend full price for a hotel room, an airplane ticket or a vacation! I get quite obsessive about this and single minded when I am searching. I have provided my family with a 7 day vacation in a Florida condo and Disney World/Sea World while seeing everything that we want to see for $1100 but it took TONS of planning , Round trip airfare to Hawaii for inlaws for around $595 per person, there is a long list of savings and I thrive on finding the deals! Anyway, we are staying at the Marriott tonight for $44 total, the room is normally $125 a night! It gives me another reason to remind my darling husband WHY he loves me soooo much!

I'm off to plant flowers and assemble the troops for our road trip tonight!
Happy Weekend!!!!!
