Mocha found Sophie in the one moment that she was without her pink Tweety bird pull up. If you haven't been following this blog, Sophie is our Boxer baby who is going thru her first "heat" and this will be her last! Forget the puppies idea....this is just too much work. I am a mother of two in diapers right now, one that just should not be wearing them. Mocha is our chocolate Lab, whom up until this point I was sure was asexual. NOT! I let Sophie out to do her business thinking that the husband had Mocha over at our lake with him. In the brief moments that I turn my back on Sophie, (a girl does need a little privacy does she not?), Kurt pulls up with Mocha and doesn't realize Soph is outside. We are all in the kitchen when Evan runs in and is yelling that Mocha is an idiot. Well yes, Mocha isn't all that bright sometimes but where is this going. Evan launches his newly 6 year old self into a full on demonstration of Mocha in action. I about spit out my drink, sure that it is going to come thru my nose at any second. Kurt has turned 1000 shades of red and has stopped breathing, Layne and Morgan are rolling on the floor and Evan is wondering why this is not going so well. The good news out of all of this is that Mocha didn't get a chance to procreate, Sophie's virtue is still intact and she will be getting spayed very soon. About an hour later Layne comes up the steps, always my little thinking man.....he tends to ponder things for awhile.....and tells Kurt:
"I think I know what Evan was talking about!" Kurt mumbles something that even he himself probably didn't understand and Layne proceeds, "I think it means S.....E.....X.....(in a hushed tone)" Kurt stops breathing again, this time the soda does come out of my nose and Morgan yells "SHUT UP LAYNE!" Oh the joys of motherhood!
Talking about merges.......I am in the midst of merging over 14 years sales experience with my new obsession with the internet and web design. (I am no good at the web design thing but am learning) I have a new business venture in the works that I am very excited about and can't wait to share with everyone. Stay tuned for more details.
Princess is now a full fledged toddler! Oh the attitude.....this is going to be a wild ride raising this one! She is so darn lovable and cute but knows her mind, much like her Momma (I will admit to this one) and isn't shy about sharing it with you. Her new favorite thing to do is stand in her little recliner and dance, don't even try to stop her, someone will get damaged and it won't be her. I can tell that I am going to have to be the stronger parent with her, she has her Daddy so wrapped up he turns into jello when she bats those baby blues in his direction. I can see it now "Daddy, I need money" (bat, bat and he hands over his wallet), "Daddy, I need the car" (bat, bat, bat.....he hands her the keys) and "Daddy, I love you" (bat, bat, bat and he hands her his heart all over again!)
I love them both but left up to him that small whirlwind would be out of control! :) One more....I can't resist! (Flash forward 15 years) "Daddy, this is Joe, he's 18!" (Bat, Bat, Bat and .......Daddy grabs the bat and Joe runs!) If you know Kurt you can appreciate that one!
It's late enough now....surely I can go to sleep! Nite all!

I almost spit out my morning Dr. Pepper! That was hilarious! Too bad you didn't have a video camera on!
I can't wait to hear about the new buisness venture.
LOL! If I'd had something in my mouth, I think I would have spit it out reading that! Mocha may have saved you "the talk".
Excellent. You do know your husband well. He probably already has the bat behind the door.
