Busy begins again! Not that I have much of a break but with the school year nearing, things are picking up. I spent all day working on helping Kurt get things situated for his training courses in Chicago, working on Morgan's schedule and just plain working. We had to take Morgan to soccer practice in J'son tonight, the first one of the season and they have added 5 new girls. Looks like they are going to be a pretty good group of players, but then they already were. Mom picked Morgan up, they are going to spend a couple of days hanging out together and going shopping with my Grandma tomorrow. That should be fun for them all! Kurt and I took the boys and Lillianne to get new shoes. Layne picked Nike, Evan Sketchers and I found an adorable pair of sandals for the princess, since we put hers on and overnight she seems to have outgrown them. I didn't dare buy Morgan's without her there. I would have been in so much trouble, not to mention her foot grows with each passing day, too! She and Mom did meet us at the mall to do a little shopping and she just had to show me the shoes that she loved. An adorable pair of pink, silver and white Nike Shox......I loved them up until I look at the sticker! $129!!!!!! I picked my jaw up off the floor and moved on! LOL IF these were shoes that she would wear longer than the average month and a half or so that she wears shoes, I might entertain the idea but the way she grows and wears her shoes out....I don't think so! Thankfully she nearly fell over when she saw the sticker too, her words....."That's STUPID!" Normally I wouldn't let her talk this way but I am so going to have to agree...."That's STUPID!"

I stopped by Cingulair and got a cute new cell phone. I am loving it, it has a pink cover and fun buttons. My last cell phone met it's demise at the hands of one of my adorable children. No one will fess up but before its last breath, it was being fought over to play a game of tetris. I have been using Morgan's tracfone since I only have about a month left on my current contract. Tracfone is simply a funnel for your $$$$, I said to heck with it and got myself a new one tonight. I so wanted the Motorola Razr but couldn't justify the cost and wouldn't use half of the features. I don't need the digital camera and wouldn't use it for web access so I just won't be cool that way! Kurt and Mom took the kids on the carousel and Mom got them cookies while I took care of business. She and I then went into Victoria's Secret where I got some cute little underthings! Fun Fun!

Everyone is ready for school now that I finally got to the mall to get shoes. We have kindergarten open house tomorrow night, Evan is excited but cautious about the whole school thing. I am just struggling with the fact that my baby boy won't be home with his Momma everyday....

We've had a change of plans for the weekend. We were going to go to the lake but now I have some real estate things going on Saturday and Mom just heard that the price of gas on the lake is over 2.85 per gallon. Holy Cow! I know that the lake has been less busy this summer and a lot of people are attributing that to the gas prices, I can only imagine what it is looking like on the lake now. We are planning a trip for Labor Day weekend so that will have to do. I just would like to go for some relief from the heat....it is just miserable around here. Tonight on our way home we stopped by the Inlaws to turn on the pool pump, we are taking care of their pool while they are away....the pool and the cats! LOL I was so tempted to jump in and cool off, even at 9 o'clock in the evening it was miserably warm. Moving to the mountains holds real appeal right now.

Off to try for sleep! Goodnite Internet!

I got some cute shoes that look like the Nike Shox, but they aren't the Shox one, they are another Nike kind for $60 at Stage (same as Beall's). They look exactly the same! And, it was a buy one get one 1/2 off sale. LOL!
