No time for blogging lately, I am trying to keep up with reading the ones that I like to read, but unfortunately haven't been so good at getting that done.

I'm hoping that once school starts, things will calm down a bit but it really is unlikely. Morgan has started soccer with the out of town team she plays on, tournaments have been scheduled and it looks like we will be spending almost every weekend in St Louis and have two tournaments out of state. Volleyball starts Thursday for her, the first day of school.

Both Evan and Morgan had physicals today, Evan for kindergarten and Morgan for sports. Morgan has really grown, she is 5 ft 5 1/2" now and 110 lbs. She is going to be tall and thin, lucky girl. She has grown so rapidly and her knee has been bothering her so they sent us over for some x-rays. My knees killed me at that age, I had a growth spurt at 13. Evan is doing great, right on track and on the tall side for his age, all of the kids are in the upper percentages where heighth is concerned. But my cousins and brother are all over 6' so genetics is doing its thing.

I've been working non stop, it is going slowly but surely. I have been excited about some of the accounts that I have been able to secure over the last few days. One thing that I now know, don't be afraid to ask b/c you never know when they will say yes. Real Estate has had a couple of interesting developments over the last week, too. I have had a few showings and a couple of calls about listing, I got recruited by a franchise company and turned them down, simply because of the amount of fees that are involved with franchises and then the attitude that the broker gave me about how neccessary it was to be in a franchise company. I am glad that he appreciates his company but really, it doesn't do anything for me at this point. So much of the agents commission comes off of the top to go to the franchise (Not the local office) and then there are other fees. It was great to be recruited but I'm not interested in making any changes. The people that I work with are awesome, not cut throat or demanding of my time. That was important for me in finding a home for my license when I moved it, a place that truly understood that my main priorities were my children and their activities, I don't want to have to tell them that they can't participate in something b/c I can't be there for them. I also had a cash sale this week that will close by the end of the month, those don't come along very often. I won't complain b/c it has been great but I will be happy when things slow down a bit. While I have been toying with the idea of more classes this fall, I have decided that I am going to wait until after Christmas. Things should be slowing down thru the winter around here.

Kurt is seeing the orthodpedic surgeon tomorrow. I pray that there is no bad news. He has been in quite a lot of pain lately so I do fear that it won't be good. We are planning on doing something fun with the kids, be it the zoo or Science Center, it will all depend on the weather. I am grateful for the rain but hoping maybe it will hold off while we are in the city.

I doubt that I will post for a while with all that is going on but for those of you family and friends that are waiting to hear on Kurt's test results, I will try to let you know.

If you pray, say a special prayer that all will be well with Kurt and Morgan and a special prayer for my brother and his family. I am praying for ALL of our family and friends but those are a couple of special requests. Have a safe and happy week!
