The monster is in the building once again. Yes, the wicked migraine has taken up residence inside my head, I know that it probably was brought on by being sick and worrying over my sister. I just want to shut out the day light and sleep. Can't do that with Miss Lilli, she's so full of energy and hugs.
I talked with Mom this morning and my sister's blood pressure has gone down somewhat, not a great deal and they are talking about keeping her in the hospital until it is time for delivery. That could be a couple of months. They did mention breifly the possibility of her being able to go home and just stay in bed. With my Mom there, I know that she would be able to and probably forced to. I remember when I wasn't supposed to be moving around much after my accident, Mom was the stay in bed police. This is so much more important, keeping that little one safe and secure until she is ready to join us all in the crazy world. Mom was alarmed at how swollen C. was. She said that C. was all red and her eyes were sunken in due to the swelling. They did finally do an ultrasound this morning and all looks ok with the baby, thank God.
Evan had soccer practice last night. He ran in the house all smiles and launched himself at me, giving me a huge hug. He said he loved it and that he scored a goal. Keep in mind, this is kindergarten soccer....more laughs than skills. I wish Layne would enjoy the sport the way his brother and sister do but it is obviously not meant to be. There are so many things that he does enjoy and we will focus on those. I have tried at least 10 times to call his coach to tell him Layne has opted out but no answer....and no voice mail.????
I made homemade chicken and rice soup last night for dinner, thought that would feel good on my throat and it is always a hit with the kids. It was yummy and I'm looking forward to a big bowl of it for lunch. I haven't been eating much or well the last week due to feeling bad and I am starting to be able to tell with my energy level and my shorts and capris are loose. I really don't care to lose any more weight so I've got to find something I can stand to swallow.
I have marketing work to do today, that should keep me quite busy.
I need to gather my information for the Press Release that a friend is writing for me. I am really excited as she has done PR for some big companies, I'm honored she's take on little ole me! THANK YOU E, if you read this!!!!!
Did you know that Defamation of Character and libel applies to the internet and blogs, too! Interesting bit of information that I came upon. So basically, if you defame someone and libel them with the written word and it is done with malice, it is prosecutable.........That is REALLY good information to have in my pocket!
