Nothing much to blog about here...........I have managed to avoid the evil chocolate that has been calling out to me, could be part of why I am feeling so bitchy. If I gave in and got the fix, maybe I would just be happier! LOL Kurt took me shopping when we went out for our anniversary and I bought a couple pair of cute new jeans, I don't think that they would appreciate the binge chocolate fest that I have in mind!

Speaking of jeans....my 13 year old daughter and I now have one size seperating us. We just bought new jeans for her and they were a 1!!! I about died but then I have to remind myself that she is 5'5.5" and 110 lbs. She grew up and I couldn't do a dang thing about it. She is now stealing all of my cute shirts and loses them in the abyss that is her room. At least I get to keep my jeans for maybe another year but soon they will be gone, too. Funny side note to growing.....Layne and I were sorting thru the clothing we were donating to the Hurricane relief effort. There were a couple of larger size things that he thought looked nice. He asked me if I wanted to keep them and I told him that they were too big. He told me that I could keep them until I grew into them. I had to explain that you stop growing around a certain age and the only way Mommy would grow is if she grew out! He got quite a laugh out of that one and then looked at me with a serious look and said "But your not, right? Gonna grow out?" Guess I really need to stay away from that chocolate! LOL

Work is going well, I hired a marketing firm this week and they are working on putting my campaign together. It all is a bit mind boggling and costly, but they have proven results so it should all be good. I am working on the maternity line now as well as a line of cribs, nursery furniture and toddler beds. It's been a long, long road but it is all coming together. I am glad that when I started this journey over a year ago, the actual e-commerce part, that I didn't know how hard it was going to be. I might have been intimidated but now I am pleased with the results. Stop in and check it out: www.thelilypadchildrensboutique.com
Link it to your blog or website and let me know, you will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to the store!

We have a busy weekend ahead. The kids have soccer games, soccer practice and Sunday we are going to go to church and then have the corporate games out of town. Kurt got talked into playing soccer on his company's team. I just hope he takes care of that knee. It has been doing a lot better, he doesn't need to mess it up now. He has been running and working out so I think that he has it strengthened up.

Oh, I watched Survivor tonight. As with each season, I have a hard time getting into it the first few episodes but usually end up hooked. I taped it so we could watch it after getting Morgan from her Volleyball game. Evan watched it with me and he was rooting for the yellow team while I was for the blue. The blue won immunity and he was not pleased! HA!

Thanks to all who have been stopping by my blog to read the ramblings in my head! Just this week I have had visitors from Norway, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Japan, Italy.. and many from Canada and the US. I blog about my boring life and someone wants to read it! How cool is that!
