It's Monday already??? Bleh! Soccer tourn. went well this weekend, the weather was nice, the girl's didn't allow a single goal to be scored and the kids behaved! WooHoo! The behaving could have had something to do with the fact that I rented 3 DVD's for them to watch on the trips to and from the games! LOL A little bribery never hurts, does it?
Arthritis pain in my hip is kicking my tail lately. Could have something to do with the fact that one week it won't get out of the 40's and the next (this one) they forecast it to be in the 80's. I'm trying to stay away from meds as much as possible, I HATE pain killers so I have spent every evening before bed in the hot tub. DH put a new temp control unit on the tub and it wasn't calibrated correctly from the company apparently. I stepped into the tub and the water was so hot I swear it would have melted off skin! This Momma doesn't always move fast but she moved fast that night! LOL
I'll share a couple of pics from the weekend. Lillianne would steal my cell phone at the games. She would flip it open, dial (numbers lock is a good thing!) and prop the phone up on her shoulder. She would head off saying "Hi Daddy" and strings of Lilliannese that we couldn't decipher.

"Do you think she knows I've got her phone?"

"Daddy, send help now! Mom won't let me run out on the field and play with Morgan!"
Here are a couple of the boy's playing in the leaves at home.

Evan and Layne

Christie suggested that I name my 5 things that I am thankful for "Dottie's Daily 5" so here they are for today:
1. snuggles - Lillianne and I were snuggling on the couch at 3:30 this morning watching Barney. She had a fever and needed a Mommy fix!
2. conversation: There is nothing better than knowing your teen wants and likes to talk to you! Morgan and I had some great conversations about things going on in her life while we were traveling to and from the games this weekend.
3. Foot rubs: Kurt (without being asked) gave me the most awesome foot massage this weekend! BLISS!
4. Old Friends: I had a great e-mail exchange with an old friend this last weekend. We are planning a big get together with as many of our old group as we can find over Christmas! Time and distance are no match for true friendship and pinky swears!
5. Oxyclean: Now they make the wonderous stuff in the liquid form....in a spray bottle! Brilliant! What is it about getting a stain out, there is something that is oddly gratifying when you find that it has been obliberated! Victory over the stain.....the 5K of motherhood!
Have a great Monday!

the pics are so nice...my 2 year old does the same with our phone..its too funny:)
Ohhhh, I was going to comment on the leaves and phone pics, but then I saw Oxyclean and my mind went blank. Have you tried Fantastic Oxy in the kitchen? Fabulous! I'm also a HUGE lover of Clorox wipes...
OCD? Maybe, but OCD with a fairly clean house...
Christie: Relax???? What in the world is that? LOL! That would be divine but I have a little Princess that has a fever and is rather demanding today!
Christina: LOL I don't think I could have married him if he wouldn't give me a foot massage! :)
Mama Duck: I haven't tried the Fantastic Oxy....I do love fantastic though. DH is doing the Walmart run this afternoon, I'll have to have him get some! I'm a little OCD about that sort of stuff, too!
Your kids are so damn cute Dottie! Em talks on the Cell too all day! I don't know why I buy toys.
Those are all great things to be thankful for!
Hope you had a great Monday Dottie! Maybe your week will be more relaxing than your weekend. :) LOL..yeah right, I know.
XOXO
