Maybe Lillianne should have gone as the bandito, not Layne. Halloween night was a very wet, very cool and very dreary night in our little neck of the woods. We had to pick Morgan up from basketball practice at 6 and headed over to the church for the Halloween party/carnival that they were having. They opened it up to the public and the public did show up! The rain probably contributed to the huge crowd, families from all denominations were there. They had a carnival of games for the kids, they won candy, toy surprises and had hot dogs and other goodies. The boys had a great time, Morgan played games with Lillianne's tickets and won her lots of goodies. All but one game.....we figured Lillianne could do the ring toss. A game consisting of tossing or placing the rings around the neck of an inflatable flamingo.

Lilli loved this game, so much so that after winning and moving over to the next game, she pushed her way thru the crowd of kids and made off with the flamingo. Tucking it under her arm and heading away from any sort of authority figure! We had a little ladybug bandito on our hands.....I hope this doesn't mean that she will one day adorn her lawn with pink flamingos! Should I be worried?!? LOL We made a few stops at houses that expect us to come by before heading off to Grandma and Grandpas for a few pictures and lots of chocolate. From the adult view, the rain made trick or treating a bust but the kids had a great time and that really is all that matters. (that and Mom does have plenty of chocolate to raid!!!!)
Layne, Evan, Lillianne and Morgan (No costume, just sweaty post basketball practice!)

Lillianne the LadyBug (aka Flamingo Bandito) with a mouthful of candy

Evan demonstrating "Mommy, say your prayers!"

I hope all of your little ghost and goblins had a fun time trick or treating!

Thank you for your compliments. They are my crew and I love 'em!
Those are the best kind of costumes, I didn't have to sew any of them! LOL I finally talked Evan into wearing the leather vest so I wouldn't have to! LOL!
