Shoes and Piggies
Last night Morgan was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at her Middle School. The NJHS advisor said that there were somewhere in the vacinity of 380 7th and 8th graders at their school, 88 of those were given applications for NJHS based upon them having all B pluses or above since the 5th grade. From there they looked at extra curricular activities as well as service and volunteer activities, choosing only 36 out of the entire middle school for the honor. We are so proud of her, she continues to amaze us with her ability to juggle all of her sports, scouts, band and other activities while maintaing great grades! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU, MORGAN! We love you and are proud of you! I'm posting a couple of pictures from the evening, my camera battery was dying in my digital so they aren't as great as I would have hoped and the girls had all just come from an hour and a half of basketball. FUN!

We had to rush to get Morgan a pair of nice shoes to wear, she had tried all of her dress shoes on the night before to find that NONE of hers fit her any longer :( We found a pair that she loved and headed over to school. I get out of the van and look down to see that I had one dark navy heel on and one off black heel on! YEP!!! That was a lovely moment! Thank goodness the colors were so similar that no one noticed but Morgan got a great laugh out of it and had to of course tell all of her friends! I sat with Samantha's Mom and told her what I had done, she laughed and said I was definately a mother of little ones. She speaks from experience having had four of her own. She told me she had done the same thing with the shoes but wasn't so lucky, her shoes were two of very different colors! LOL That's what I get for buying two exact same pairs of shoes, just slightly varied in color! Kurt had to stay home with the kids, Lillianne wasn't feeling well and was running a low grade temp. I am terrified of RSV after the boys both had it so if she is at all comprimised, she stays home and away from anyone that might be sick.

Lillianne is feeling better today, still has a little temp but is trying to feed Sophie (our boxer baby) pretend food out of a bowl with a spoon! Sophie is LOVING it! She keeps looking at me like "WHY OH WHY DO YOU LET HER DO THIS ????"

I'd better go save Sophie, Lillianne had moved on to playing "This Little Piggy" with Sophie's "piggies"
Have a great day and Congratulations again sweet girl, we love you!!!
