He wore the damn boots today......
It just wasn't worth the struggle and he didn't have PE today so I didn't put up a fight. That stubborn kid....he must get it from his Dad!
Not fighting with him could have had something to do with the fact that I am walking around in a drug induced stupor. Well, is Unisom a drug?
I have another cold, as does Lillianne and haven't been sleeping. I was starting to feel the effects of no sleep and Kurt was apparently afraid that he was soon going to be experiencing the effects of me not sleeping. He came home with a box of Unisom and a 6 pack of Schmirnoff Ice. He must really buy into that "If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" thing!
Before bed I asked Kurt if he had picked up some Diet Coke because I was out and would need some in the morning.
"Nope"
"Why not, didn't you get my page?" (said with an equal mix of desperation and frustration)
"Yep, I got it"
"Then why the hell didn't you get any?"
"Because that's what is keeping you up at night"
Pause........long pause.........................(I can't find the words....well I found some but they weren't nice so I had to eat them)
"Whatever" (stalks back into the house)
He gives me a kiss before leaving this morning and hands me a Diet Coke...........smart, smart man! He likes living on the edge!
Today I am thankful for:
1. DH was not such an idiot and bought the Diet Coke
2. The Diet Coke
3. The fact that I don't have to leave the house today and freeze my tail off
4. Warm fuzzy socks
5. The little house cleaning fairy that IS going to show up today to clean for me....Ok.......I'm thankful for the ability to dream!

I had a little Valium today...This Mama needed it! Thank goodness for Diet Coke today.
