9 days until Christmas Eve...................please tell me exactly where the month of December has gone!!!! Christmas Eve will begin the deluge of guests here at my house and I am no where near ready as far as menus, decorating and so forth. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Can you hear me panicking from where you are?!? It will go well in the end, it always does ... I will have lost all of my sanity but it does always work out.
Hopefully tomorrow night I will be able to get the kids Christmas picture taken in front of the tree. I take one every year to include in some of our cards but that hasn't been done yet. I am thankful for digital imagery this year, and of course the hubby that supplied me with digital imagery. LOL The family room tree still needs to be put up and the train set dug out of the attic and dusted off to put around it. Evan is especially enamored with the train and can't wait to help set it up. Touch up painting needs to be done in the family room, new trim put up in the play room......the list just keeps going. I need to calm down and realize that the people that will be here for Christmas are here because they love us and want to be with us..... not to see the trim or the paint......I just need to breathe! Once I dig into the fudge Mom or Dida will bring, I'll forget all about the "to do" list anyway.....
I am happy to report that the washer is alive and agitating.....better than ever I think. Handy Hubby made some killer parts that have it washing clothes better than it did when we got the darn thing. He is useful for so many things, good thing I keep him around! LOL
Morgan wants to have a get together of friends over the x-mas holidays so we are trying to put that together. What night works well...who to have....what to do.....what to eat..... it goes on and on but should be fun!
I'm off to pick up the kiddos from school, go to Morgan's basketball game and go to Walmart.....pray for me.......Walmart at Christmas time sucks!
I've already mentioned a few things I'm thankful for today so I will just add:
**I'm thankful that my Brother In Law is doing fairly well. Thank you for your prayers, I know that they were heard.
**I'm thankful for the promise of the Christmas fudge that will be coming to my house! YUM
** I'm thankful for a Schmirnoff Ice and the hot tub last night!

Let's hear it for handy husbands!! Of course, sometimes getting them started on the little projects takes some work on our parts, but thank goodness they know what to do once they get going!
I believe the entire month of December has gone on vacation, because I have nothing to show for it either.
Wal-Mart is like a zoo from Thanksgiving until Christmas...good luck!
Yikes, I got tired just reading that!
Send over some fudge....and the Smirnoff!
Menus! Hunny you're good.
Here's my theory on Walmart and Target. GO in the morning and on a weekday. I did it yesterday and they were fairly empty and tame.
I'm praying for you and sending peace your way.
Love,
Christie
Where did my comment go?!!! I clicked send it disappeard. Ugh.

Heather: I usually like the Hustle and Bustle, I just got a tad bit overwhelmed when I realized how much I had to actually do! LOL
Mama Duck: It has just flown by. Walmart crowds are just crazy but you have to do what you have to do!
:)
Tammy: I'll try to send some fudge your way! :) Hope Maddy is feeling better!
Christie: Thanks for your prayers!
My favorite time to go to Walmart (24hours) is around 10 at night. It's so quiet and I end up spending far too much $$. Target is 30 minutes away :( and aren't open 24 hours or you could bet I'd be making that trip!
Oh and Menus....LOL! I have issues and I love lists!
Christie: I have comment moderation turned on! I have to hit publish to let comments show up. Sorry!
