at my house.....and there is! The older kids spent the night away from home last night so it was just Lilli, Kurt and I. Not that Lilli is ever quiet but compared to the day yesterday, it was serene. The kids had the day off school due to snow and I swear someone wired them for sound.
We were able to get the tree up in the living room, the village set up and a few other things done but haven't begun the tree in the family room yet. Maybe today, maybe not! I do have to get it done because we are having Christmas at our house this year, I have issues and want everything just so-so. Unfortunately the energy to make everything so-so is just not abundant right now. I've been tempted to paint my living room but have elaborate paint plans in mind so it's been suggested I wait, lest Imake myself even more nuts!
Here's a picture of my little fashionista this morning - sans the snow boots!

Lillianne loves the Christmas tree, she sits and talks to us about it for minutes on end. We have no idea what she is saying but I think that she approves. I thought that she was doing pretty good at not messing with it until I went to put some clothes away in my room, hear an ornament hit the floor and come around the corner to see her stuffing the blown glass heart back into the tree. She sees me and proclaims "Oh Mommy", giving me her sweet girl grin. The "no-no" speech I had in mind lost it's steam after that look.
Say a prayer for my brother-in-law today, just mention him....God knows his needs. Thanks!
Laundry beckons.........Happy Weekend!

I'm still amazed at the 2 tree thing! Hunny..you just love to make things tough on yourself! :) I'm sure you'll get the other one done, though. I've had the kids alone for the weekend and let me say...AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Do you feel the scream...? LOL.
The birthday party is out of the way and now I can just curl up and get warm. The kids are even fed. Whoooohoooo.
Thinking of you and said a prayer for your brother.
xoxo
