So it's COLD here, cold and windy............YUCK!

Lillianne had a pretty high temp last night. I checked on her at 3:30 and she was burning up. Handy hubby and I put her in a tepid bath, dosed her with tylenol and ibuprofen as prescribed and settled in for some snuggles. Her temp fell a couple of degrees and I sent Handy Hubby back to bed, Lillianne requested Barney and I unloaded/loaded the dishwasher and did two loads of laundry. This was all before 5AM! I was able to lay the kids clothes out, make lunches and load back packs....the morning routine went very smoothly but I refuse to wake up at 3:30 to make that happen again! LOL

Lillianne seems to feel fine today although she is still running a temp and has had some messy diapers. It looks viral and the Dr's office said to call tomorrow if things aren't improved. I'm praying for sleep tonight....please!

Morgan's got a game tonight. I got some 'tude this morning b/c I said no to her going to the HS game with her friend after their game. The forecast for tonight is questionable and I don't want her out too late...bad mommy that I am! LOL Someday she'll appreciate it, until then it may be a rocky ride.

The kids got their report cards and they were all fabulous. I'm so proud of these kiddos. Layne and Evan had all 3's and 4's, which translate to A's and A plusses. Morgan had all A's & B plusses, which taking into consideration her schedule, is wonderful. I just don't remember being so busy as a kid. Basketball is ending but there are both soccer teams, scouts, STUCO and NJHS. I don't see a free weekend ahead but she enjoys it and thrives so I can't complain.

Layne went to the dentist the other day and his dentist requested an orthodontic consult. Here we go again....Morgan's dentist and ortho wanted to put braces on her when she was around 9, if we would have gone ahead and done it, she might not have had to go thru so many extractions before these braces and the process would have been easier. I had too many people telling me it was too early and didn't listen to the professionals.... We won't make that mistake with Layne, he is not excited about the whole experience though.

Lillianne is sleeping, I'm going to try to grab a nap!

Again....today I am just thankful!

I hope you got your nap! Sam had a cold last week and we were up and down, and today is the first day I've felt caught up on sleep, so I can definitely relate. Nap while you can!

Laina: No nap but I did enjoy the quiet for a little while. It is so tough when they are sick, isn't it!

Xtessa: I had braces at 8 for a year and then in middle school. It was a pain but worth it. They have some awesome alternatives for adults now...invisiline or something like that.

Christina: Thanks for your well wishes!!

momyblogr: so glad you stopped by! LOL, it is a RARE day that I get that accomplished after the entire day, let alone before 5! I had to keep myself busy so I could stay awake to help Lilli! :)
