I am alive!
Yes, I am still alive and around but just haven't had the time to blog. I have those moments thru out the day that I think "I should blog about this..." and yet can't ever get here to do it. And of course, now that I have actually started to write, those blogging moments elude me!

I am working hard on launching new departments and lines in my boutique and marketing like a mad woman. Google is finally trickling customers into my store bringing the average up to around 99 per day! Now I just need to get it all up and online. Mom is home and when she gets settled I told her I would hire her to help me. She'd like the extra spending $$ and I'd love the help and company! :) I've had several people in town trying to convince me to open up a brick & mortar location but I just can't resolve myself to do it. Handy Hubby told me he would give me the $ is that is what I want but I LOVE my freedom and my hours. My sister told me why mess with something that is working so well, she makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't have the same traffic numbers that I do online. So....I'm not messing with what works! Good advice dear sister!

We didn't get to work on the sunroom this last weekend. We did go and get the doors and windows so we have them when we are ready but it was just too freaking cold and that part of our house catches a wind that will knock you down. Reason #1 that we are closing the patio in. We did however have fun shopping for the supplies. Friday night Hubby took me out for seafood..yum and then Saturday we spent the day with the kids shopping for supplies, went to O Charley's to eat and bowling....the bowling was fun but I seriously sucked! I was too busy trying to keep Lillianne from wreaking havoc on other bowlers games. Hubby on the other had was the strike king....annoyed the hell out of me! LOL Twas fun and then we vegged on the couch and watched the "Wedding Crashers". Sunday Morgan and I went shopping and I was actually able to go into Vicki's secret and come out with a bra that I love. They were having a great sale so I picked up a few other little things and got a free lipstick that was actually in my shade! I call that successful shopping!

We've had to put the sunroom on hold since the artic weather has finally arrived and is forecasted to stick around but I picked up some pretty laminate wood flooring in a light cherry to put in the playroom. Hubby doesn't escape the projects! :) We have a linoleum floor in there now and I HATE....HATE....HATE...it so is getting covered up tomorrow!

I had to turn in the kids soccer forms....I can't believe that it is time already..
Kurt was asked to coach a team in Morgan's age division but we talked it over with the guy that would help him and both of them have so much on their plate for the spring. It all sounded great, they wanted the guys to form another all star team but Morgan's commitment to the select soccer team out of town really makes that difficult. It's great that they asked and thought of him but both guys decided to opt out. I am quietly relieved! We have a lot of projects we are hoping to work on here at home and he's got some other things he will be working on and I selfishly want any free time to be spent with us.

It finally has snowed here! It was beautiful this morning but wouldn't you know it, it was a morning that I had to leave the house. They didn't end up cancelling school but on my way out to the highway I saw two cars off in the ditch. The stuff is beautiful and great if you can stay home and enjoy it.

I have had two of the kids home with what I guess is some sort of flu consisting of headache, fever and congestion. I guess that is the same thing that Lilli had last week but she can't tell me about a headache yet! Here's hoping the rest of us don't get it.

Ok, so that catches you up on the boring stuff that is my life! I will do my best to get around and catch up with you all and comment! I am off right now to read while all is quiet! I just finished the first book in Beverly Lewis' "Abrhams Daughters" series and finally got a copy of Diana Gabaldon's lastest in the "Outlander Series" which is almost 1000 pages. I'd better get to reading!

I'll leave you with of few snowy pictures from today! Stay warm!

Wow, you all got a lot more snow than we did! Glad the business is going well--I agree with your sister--don't mess with a good thing.

so glad to hear your buisness is growing..

it is snowing here right now..y=thanks for sending it,you bad girl;)

It must be quite cold in Missouri for you to have that much snow. I didn't think you folks got snow that often. I just remember Ft. Leonardwood and it's miserable heat. The only time I have passed out from heat exhaustion. You are one busy woman but it sounds like you are enjoying the fruits of your labors. Keep up the good work.

Those pictures are GORGEOUS! I so envy you!

So you have land, then?? I mean, not stuck in the city like me??

I know the whole "older women" on Survivor is quite an insult, eh?? Man, I think of people in their 60's as middle aged, I thought I was pretty young being 36. What is the world coming to??

Laina: I was hoping for a little snow and we got it. Yes, I think you and my sis are right...I'm stickin to it:)

Christina: Sorry for sending it northward. Don't you all usually get tons of the stuff anyway?!?

Irishman: It has gotten cold in the last week and we finally got snow. It used to snow a whole lot more here than it does now. Fort Leonardwood is where I was born. I was a military baby. Were you in training there?

Lowa: Thanks, it was a pretty snowfall. We live on 3 acres and have 10 more down the road that we are someday going to build on....someday! LOL So far we have the lake there and it is filling. The view is from my front porch across my front yard and the neighbors fields.

You, my friend, are a busy woman! Why is it that we live so far from one another. You're awesome and I'm glad you're building that business of yours.

xoxoxo
