Not a lot of free time to post these days....
This last weekend was another filled with reading, lectures and tests which brings nothing too exciting.

We did take advantage of the gorgeous weather that we had on Saturday by taking a picnic lunch to a local state park to hike, play in the water, the woods and the playground. While the kids, Sophie and Kurt hunted crawdads in the stream, I read from my textbook and took notes for awhile. I couldn't get involved in their water activities b/c earlier in the week I cut my knee open. I probably should have gotten stitches but the thought of it nearly gave me an anxiety attack so the butterfly closures were employed. It is healing nicely b/c I've done my best to keep it straight and out of the water. Driving has proven to be a challenge but even with stitches my movement would have been restricted.

Nothing much else is going on....just enjoying the summer. It is coming to a close far too quickly.
