Notes To Self
Note to self: Read and re-read last post made. Continue to read last post until you do remember that you have amazing kids.

LOL! The weather has been funky and so have the kids moods. We have had tornadic weather, severe thunderstorms and TONS of rain making it impossible for the kids to be outside and they have just not been seeing eye to eye. I think everyone in the house has been hormonal. ACK! Thankfully the rain has subsided but not before our county was hit by yet another tornado and lots of rain. Kurt had to go out and clean the gutters as well as dig an impromptu trench in our yard b/c of the heavy rain. It is LOVELY.....um, not! But if my options were water in the basement as opposed to no water in the basement, I'll take the muddy mess. Kurt's been wanting to take some dirt out of that area due to high places anyway, I guess this will speed up that process.

Soccer tournaments were cancelled due to the nasty weather, too. I have to say that I wasn't sorry at 6:00 this morning when I checked the website to see if the games were still on. It was dark, thundering and rainy. All I wanted to do was snuggle back down and sleep in.

The end of summer is here, tomorrow the boat and jet skis come out of the water and are being brought home. I'm glad Mom and I were able to make that last trip over and then the rest of the family joined us. I'm afraid that if she would have waited until next summer to go over for the first time after Daddy died, it would have been even harder than it was.

I'm going to be cramming in my Real Estate continuing education this week. NOT looking forward to that. It's not hard, just time consuming.

I have nothing else.....I'm tired and ready for everyone else to go to sleep so I can watch TV with full control of the remote! LOL Just a few moments of peace, not too much to ask for is it?

Tonight I am thankful for:

1. The fact that today is almost over and the crabby people are going to bed! LOL

2. My Handy Hubby went to town for milk and came home with a pkg of Nestle Crunch bars and a big bag of M&M's just for me.

3. The fact that the rain/thunderstorms/tornados have passed and no one was seriously hurt in our community and that my family is safe.

G'nite!

Ok so what did you watch with power over the control? I hope it was good!

I'm glad the storms left you and all is well.

LOL! I wish I could say that it was something good but I think that about 30 seconds into my complete control of the remote, I fell asleep. Pretty sad! :)
