Laundry multiplies faster than the results of the most amourous of rabbit lovin' around here. I swear, I don't know how it happens. Granted with 6 people in our household, we are going to have some serious laundry going on but this is INSANE. I think that the people at Tide are working undercover with the laundry hampers in my house to boost their quarterly sales numbers. I need to be cloned just so one of me is always in the laundry room. Did I mention that I am sick of laundry?
Layne left this morning for his overnight scout campout. Kurt had to work this weekend and couldn't go along but he is going to head down this afternoon to spend the afternoon and evening with Layne and his den. Layne doesn't have a clue so I know that he will be very excited. He did not want either of us to stay the night though because it is far cooler to share the tent with your friend that with your parent. I mean, parent's aren't cool enough to talk bugs, bodily functions and all other gross things that 10 year old boys find awesome. LOL He was so excited this morning and had the best time putting all of his stuff together last night. He has a regular flashlight that he is taking but Kurt gave him a mini mag light that is camo in color to put on his belt. He is VERY proud of his mag light, his Daddy carries one with him at work everyday. The strange bondings of father and son. :)
Evan is Pokemon obsessed. Go figure.....he got into the Pokemon games for his gaming system and now everything is Pokemon. Then after a visit to his cousin's house in Minnesota in which he discovered his cousin had big books of Pokemon cards, that has become his heart's desire. Last night while at Walmart Layne and I picked up some cards for him and snuck them in his Happy Meal Box. Seriously, I almost had to peel him off of the ceiling when he dug into his food and found his "prize", he was THAT excited! Unfortunately with Layne at his scout thing, Daddy at work and Morgan at a friend's house.....guess who has been chosen to do the battle of the Pokemon cards.....Yep, that would be me. I got suckered into the video game version and now it is the cards. There is no escaping...LOL
I'm off to get ready for a soccer game. This is my life.....Pokemon, soccer, laundry and potty training adventures!
