Battle lines are being drawn
I'm wondering if blogging is such a good idea tonight. It is one of those days....dark, rainy and gloomy and everyone seems to have lost their mind. You know, one of those days that if one child breathes too heavily or too often, the other one is in danger of becoming homicidal. The kind of day where you run out of diapers before your husband can get home with the new pack because your two year old insists on stripping her diaper off every 30 minutes and thinks that the only thing her potty chair is good for is standing on to brush her teeth. The kind of day where all of the kids are home because everyone is stuffy and miserable.....The kind of night where two ice cold Schmirnoff Ice just don't seem to be enough.....You know that kind of day, don't you!

Did I mention that it is wet and cold? I'd had my fill of hot summer weather ( I do miss boating though) but this cold, wet miserable stuff is unsatisfactory. I understand why statistically they say more people deal with depression in the fall and winter. Your choices are being cooped up in the house or freezing your a.. off getting out to do anything. Those choices are depressing!

So, I completely redid the Princess' bedroom. It is adorable, girly and even I would love to sleep there. Lilli loves to take everyone in to show them her "pitty" room but guess who won't sleep there. She insists on sleeping on the love seat. DRIVES. ME. NUTS! And the whole potty thing.....I need help! I know enough not to force the issue, been there and done that. That method just lends itself to flat out refusal and for those of you that have had toddlers, you need to pick your battles very carefully because you very seldom win them. Our leaders could take lessons from toddlers on battle tactics, our nation would remain secure.

Speaking of battles....there is one going on right now with bedtime refusal. Better hit the front lines....wish me luck
