Enough already! Too many sleepless nights and too many days of my baby girl feeling bad and now I feel like I am coming down with the same ailment. My head is pounding, nose is stuffy.....it feels as if I am doomed to get it.
All is right with the world again, according to Miss Morgan. She came home with a smile on her face and the fickleness of friends is a thing of the past (until tomorrow! LOL) I'm relieved, there were no tears, no plans to move to foreign countries or solar systems and no grouchies. She's got a soccer tournament this weekend that she is looking forward to, I think that I am, too. I miss watching her play when the season is over.
Princess is still roaming around, watching her "She-os" (Shows for those of you that don't speak Lilliannese) in two different rooms. LOL Her sleep schedule is so off with being sick. Dora is on in her bedroom while Dragon Tails is playing in the living room...decisions, decisions....I'm trying to convince her that NOW is a great time to go to sleep. She just says "Oh Mommy!".
On the work front, I haven't had the time to devote to the store that I had hoped to this last year but I did work hard into the wee hours many nights, working on Search Engine Optimization that was specific to key words relating to my boutique. I have been seeing it pay off over the course of the last couple of months. I used to get excited by a few visitors a day but now, just in the last 7 days, I have had 620 Unique Visitors and 3203 page loads. How awesome is that! That is like 620 customers walking thru the doors of my boutique in only 7 days. Those numbers may be nothing compared to the big box stores but for a unique niche like mine, I think that they are fantastic! I feel that all of those long, countless hours are being validated now. The focus now becomes loading product, both new and resale. I have children's bedding, furniture, toys and baby product vendors along with new maternity and juniors. I'm becoming very excited about the the prospects for 2007! Mom wants to help me so that she has something to keep her busy and I will enjoy having her around to help.
Did I mention that I was tired? More like T I R E D !!!!! What I wouldn't give for a couple of days of uninterrupted sleep followed by a couple on a white sandy beach.... one can always dream, can't one?
I'm being summoned to rewind Dora. Nite all!

Wow! 620 Unique visitors!!!! Huge. I'd be excited. You need to get the girl sleeping and feeling better. I only wish I had a magic wand to loan to you in order to make that happen. :)
