Snow and Babies

It snowed today.....it was 77 degrees earlier this week but it snowed today....MO weather...sigh

I got the taxes finished up finally! I think that I will turn it over to the tax man this next year, too many other things my brain to process. I have to learn to let go! LOL

It's quiet now as everyone is asleep, I'm curled up on the couch with my fuzzy blanket, my laptop and my baby dog. Life is good..... it was a busy day with soccer games, work and errands to be done. The kids went to Mom's for awhile tonight, my brother's kids are there for a visit. Kurt and I were able to sneak away to Cape for dinner, actual conversation and some shopping....Life is good! :)

I found out that my friend is expecting a baby. Her only child is now 13 and SURPRISE! Now that it is starting to sink in for them, I think that the general feeling is one of excitement but as she put it today....She'll get one out of high school as she's putting one in kindergartern. WOW!!!
I can't imagine being pregnant now, I don't think that there is anyway that my body would do it now. Keeping in mind that the Dr's didn't think that my body would cooperate once with the extent of injuries I sustained, but I KNOW now that I don't have the energy to do that again.
I am so excited for her!

Nothing much to post about, just so very busy and so very tired. So........
Today I am thankful for:
1. Fuzzy Blankets
2. Laptops
3. Warm puppy dogs
4. Quiet
5. The fact that spring is on the way!
