I can't even remember the last time I visited this blog, let alone wrote a post. I miss it, I miss the outlet that it provided.
To recap since it has been so long...
Lillianne is loving kindergarten, Evan is doing well with his homeschooling, Layne is looking forward to 8th graduation and my oldest baby girl, Morgan will be graduating high school in May. Time goes by so quickly, I feel I haven't had the chance to catch my breath.
We do have soccer season starting soon and I am looking forward to cheering for Lillianne in her first year of soccer and for Morgan in her final year of high school soccer. I hope she will play college ball but we will see what the season and her choices bring. The boys don't have any interest in it this year but Layne tells me that he will play high school soccer next year. (Did I just say Layne and high school in the same sentence...surely not)
Handy Hubby has been busy with work and completed our addition this fall. This after his fall from our roof, helicopter flight from our field and his aortic tear repair. In a year I had followed two helicopters to two different hospitals. One for my daughter and one for my husband and thank God the outcome for both ended positively. I do believe that I lost a few years off of my existance due to the stress and worry.
I'm struggling with the decision to reopen The Lily Pad. Do I open in a brick and mortar location or work strictly online. I am praying for guidance and hope that I soon find some clarity. I miss my brick and mortar store and I miss my customers/friends but the convenience of working online from home is so very appealing.
I'm rambling, trying to find my writing groove...random thoughts on virtual paper. My sister envouraged me to write just 15 minutes a day until I was inspired or hit my stride again. So thus...my 15 minutes. If you have read this recap/rambling then I thank you for sticking with me. My posts may seem mundane over the next bit but I am trying out the 15 minute technique and I will probably ramble. A. Lot! :)
In the spirit of my older posts I am going to ressurect my 5 things that I am thankful for.
1. Kurt (Handy Hubby)
2. Morgan Elizabeth
3. Layne Michael
4. Evan William
5. Lillianne Grace
